Néctar shows an intense ebony colour with iodine tones and intense legs due to high sugar content. On the nose rich aromas of fruits such as raisins, figs and dates accompanied by honey, syrup and fruit preserve. On the palate velvety and smooth with good acidity which alleviates the sweetness. Long and flavourful finish.

Barbadillo Pale Cream is a young Manzanilla that has been aged in American oak casks for three years in the Solera system. It is then blended with a sweet Moscatel wine and fortified to 17.5% before being fined, filtered and bottled.
Golden colour with a familiar Manzanilla and ripe sultana fruit nose. On the palate it is rich and pleasantly cloying with a long sweet finish.

This delicious Pedro Ximenez has a liquid Christmas cake character, great depth and a lovely flick of acidity on the finish which serves to emphasise the unctuous sweetness and flavours of dried fig and raisins.

Nose: relatively close to a Fino in the sense that it shows similar chalky / yeasty notes and a pungent salinity. Maybe a little more delicate, with a lot of rounder notes as well: a little caramel and dried apricot. Hazelnuts and almonds. Hints of honey, old wood and subtle oak polish.

Mouth: very un-sweet of course, but it lacks the austerity that sometimes comes with dry Amontillado. Quite light with few flavours that really stand out. Orange peel. Almonds. Medium acidity. Some half-sweet notes in the background (think figs and citrus). Also a faint bitter edge of chestnuts.

100% Moscatel from Lustau’s vineyard “Las Cruces” in Chipiona. Aged for 8 years in Jerez de la Frontera.

Lustau’s Fino del Puerto has an intensely fruity character in its infancy with notes of ripe yellow apples, pears and white peach all present. In many ways it is more like white wine than a Sherry on the nose. The palate gives away its origins though; it is very pure with a savoury backbone. Delicate touches of dried apricot vie with a hint of marmite on the subtle, yet long finish

Mahigany colour with a walnut aroma. On the palate it is dry with pronounced nutty flavours that give way to a long, smooth finish

Young wines from Pedro Ximenez grapes dried in the sun are used to elaborate this fine, sweet liqueur wine aged 24 months in French Vosges oak barrels.

Leonor Palo Cortado is the latest addition to the superior range. Aged for over 12 years it has fine aromas of wood, vanilla and almonds. The palate is nutty and perfectly integrated with a long finish.

Pale straw colour, dry, light and smooth. This Fino is laced with scents of the sea and profound “flor” aromas. Clean and fresh, with a slight taste of tangy yeast.

Light and delicate with complex layers of flavours. Amazingly balanced fruit, nuttyness and salinity. Bone dry, crisp and a really long finish.
Marvellous stuff. Aged for 15 years.

Well rounded but tangy, saline, nutty with traces of acidity and tannin, those crisp Manzanilla characteristics lie just below the calm Amontillado surface. Very complex and interesting with a dry saline, nutty finish.

Bright, straw-like yellow colour with diamond sheen. Penetrating aromas of almonds and olives. Light and dry on the palate with hints of salt and wine with a pleasant bitterness on the finish.

A bone dry Manzanilla from the town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, light and fresh, very tangy, clean and crisp with just a hint of saltiness.

Aromas of walnuts and coffee, with a palate of dried fruit and roasted coffee beans.

The Deluxe Cream is very much the “crème de la crème” of Cream Sherries. Rich and sweet with notes of figs, prunes, walnuts and cinnamon. It is long and lingering on the palate. Serve slightly chilled in the summer or at room temperature during the winter months.

This exceptional sherry brings together the finesse and delicacy of an Amontillado with the richness and body of an Oloroso. An extremely versatile wine. Aged for 12 years in Bodega la Emperatriz Eugenia in Jerez de la Frontera.
Light amber in colour. Nutty and dry with nuances of vanilla, mocha and dark chocolate. Dry and concentrated, this wine has a long and elegant finish.

This Oloroso wine has an intense, concentrated aftertaste, lightened by a tangy acidity. Aged following an oxidative aging for 12 years in Bodega La Campana in Jerez de la Frontera.

The smooth and warming palate shows flavours of hazelnuts, prunes, cake spice and bitter chocolate with a long, slightly smoky finish.

A beautiful amber colour clear and brilliant in appearance. Intense on the nose with hints of fine wood, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg and crystallized fruits. Due to its age, it is dry and powerful on the palate, but at the same time demonstrates delicacy and finesse. It has a wonderfully long finish to enhance the overall experience.

The bodega Toro Albala is in the D.O. Montilla-Moriles area so although they must not call the wines they make “sherry” technically the wines are very similar. There is a big emphasis on PX grape (Pedro Ximenez) and these wines are usually used to create very sweet and delicious wines suitable for desserts. Here we have an unusual offering- a bone dry Fino produced entirely from PX grapes. The “en Rama” means it is made with very little filtration.

Caramel and toffee with roasted hazelnuts and a touch of raisin sweetness. Rich, full and textured.

Nose: nicely balances the characteristics of Palo Cortado with Pedro Ximénez. There are dark, caramelized notes and molasses with a clear smoky side, but also more mineral and tangy notes. Nice tobacco. Orange peel. Saline hints. Toffee. Roasted almonds. Also quite a lot of peppery touches.

Mouth: same impressions, it’s full-bodied and off-dry, and provides plenty of spicy notes, chocolate coated nuts, figs and toffee. Then again there’s this tangy, salty note behind it, slightly muted by the Pedro Ximénez. Sweet Turkish coffee. Hints of bread crust. Hazelnuts and a whiff of smoke in the aftertaste.
