Classic barrique-aged Barbera d'Asti from the oldest vineyards of the Il Cascinone estate.

Lugarara is produced from a single vineyard with soils of grey marl and a sandy topsoil. The palate is balanced with fresh acidity and good structure. Citrus and almond perfumes follow through to the long finish.

Dolcetto is a delicate variety, that requires correct exposure, care and attention. For this reason Vajra’s Dolcetto is cultivated only on the most appropriate vineyards. Perfectly balanced with all the elements in harmony.

Coste & Fossati is a selection of antique biotypes of Dolcetto, selected by Aldo Vajra between 1978 and 1985, and grafted in two of the best vineyards of Bricco di Vergne in Barolo (the vineyard Coste and Fossati). They produce an intense and spiced Dolcetto.

Very inviting spiced honeyed nose and some creamy, lightly spiced aromas as if it had some oak influence. Nutty, citrus, with just discernible floral and apricot notes. Full of flavour and yet restraint, cool and fresh and lingeringly elegant and aromatic.

Castagni Reverdito Barolo is brick red in colour with a nose of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, mocha, leather and floral notes. It is full-bodied with bright acidity, lean tannins, and rich flavors of raspberries, cherries, anise, oak and spice.

This Barbera comes from the Conca Tre Pile vineyard which is situated on a steeply sloping part of the Bussia Soprana hill. Here the Barbera vines are up to 45 years old and give a full bodied, concentrated and spicy wine.

A clear ruby red colour, with light orange reflections; a rather intense and classic aroma, with a slight scent of wood and presence of wild berries. A lovely and harmonious taste with scents of liquorice and sweet tannins.

Barolo Lecinquevigne distinguishing features are a hue of ruby red with orange-tinted reflections and an intense aroma of rose, leather and tobacco in sequence with hints of violet and tar emerging.
Its taste is ample and enveloping with a feeling of softness and a long, persistent savour prevailing in the mouth.

The “Vigna Rionda” vineyard is in one of the best positions in Serralunga: when Giovanni and Renato Massolino decided to buy it, they exchanged it for a larger vineyard. It produces a powerful, concentrated wine, suitable for long ageing.

Medium red in colour with brick tones. On the nose, this wine is all spices and cloves. On the palate, it is lean with a great structure. It has flavours of bitter cherries and earthy liquorice. The finish is good with a lingering persistence in the mouth.

Delightful and complex single estate Gavi Spumante - produced in the 'traditional' method with second fermentation in bottle.
Lifted aromas of citrus with delicate yeasty notes. The palate has a creamy mousse, and an apple and biscuit character balanced by fresh lemon citrus acidity - all leading to a long, mineral and complex finish.
