Named after the signature spice blend of South Africa, this huge wine is made from classic Rhône varieties. The blend changes every year to incorporate the best grapes from the Swartland vintage.

Full bodied style with intense colour and prominent varietal character, rich plummy flavours and a nice soft velvety finish.

A complex blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon with just a hint of Viognier. An opulent style with super-fine tannins and a luscious palate named for the distinctly chocolately notes on both the nose and palate.

A great Bordeaux Blend. New world fruit with a slight heat typical of top South African red wines. Very smooth with a long finish.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
Baking spices, dark chocolate and black, vibrant fruits hint at the power to follow. Complex aromas of pure cassis, meat and oak spice lead to a well-integrated fruit centre with dense, but finely-tuned tannins. This is a wonderful blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Shiraz and 5% each of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot where the components are expressive but well-balanced and the whole is so much more than the parts. Powerful, explosive and medium- to full-bodied with the precision of 2017 shining through to a long-defined finish.

Gold in colour, full mouthfeel with big concentrated fruit flavours. Well integrated oak. It's classical in style with all the elements in harmony, not overpowering as some barrel matured Chardonnays can be. We think this very similar to a Puligny Montrachet style!

Traditionally whole berry fermented, this Pinot matures in french oak casks for 15 months. Ruby red in colour with notes of cherry, wild red berries, crushed black pepper, cinnamon and violets on the nose. Firm in structure, the intense flavours expand with time to extraordinary opulence and length on the palate.

Bouchard Finlayson's Hannibal blend was originally prompted by the classic taste and palate of Italian varieties: Sangiovese and Nebbiolo.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the most suited varietal to Waterford Estate soils, making up 35% of the total plantings.

Stellar award winning Chenin Blanc from an expert producer. This is proper old vine fruit, low yields and an amazing concentration of fruit. The palate is mouth filling and pleasingly complex. The finish is both long and persistent. Probably the finest premium Chenin Blanc produced in South Africa today.

Lady May is Glenelly’s Flagship Estate wine. Elegant and complex, the wine develops flavours of cassis, blackcurrant, dark cherry, touch of graphite and delicate spicy plum. Fresh and vibrant, the evolution of the wine introduces flavours specific to Glenelly’s terroir. Deeply coloured and perfectly balanced, the wine displays an exquisite structure with velvety tannins and a very good ageing capability. Can age during 12 to 18 years.
