This is the entry level Chenin Blanc, one of three made by Kaapzicht (Cape View) which is named after its stunning views over Cape Town and Table Mountain.

Named after a former owner of Rustenberg, John Xavier Merriman, who bought the farm in 1892 in sympathy with farmers suffering from the phylloxera crisis.

It is characterized by an upfront perfume, intermingled with concentrated cassis, black cherries and some herbaceousness.
