Excellent property set in Ladoix which is just north of Aloxe-Corton in the Cotes de Beaune. Originally established in 1875 by the Cornu family with Edmond taking over in 1956 and bottling the wines under his own name from 1959 (prior to this the wine had been sold onto negociants). With son Pierre now playing a vital role at the property, and vineyard expansions planned things are looking very good for Cornu wines, and with Robert Parker getting in on the act demand for these wines is reaching very high levels.
