One of the great Champagne houses, and owned by the same family since its establishment in 1776.

The house exported around 60% of its champagne (over half a million bottles) to Russia in the mid nineteenth century, plus huge exports to the USA, but then had to survive losing these lucrative markets when the Russian revolution took place in 1917, and prohibition was voted in in America. The house survived and has been thriving ever since.

Now owned by Jean-Claude Rouzaud, a direct decendent of Louis Roederer, the cuvées are better than ever, with Cristal and Cristal Rosé among the greatest champagnes in existence.
