After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel tanks for 12 months and another few months in bottle. Earthy with red berry aromas and farmyard notes. Elegant and medium bodied with a long finish.

The nose is typical Nebbiolo with strawberry and violets which leads to a good mouth fill of ripe berry fruits.

The wine has a lovely golden straw colour with a bouquet of green apples and flowers. The bubbles are fine and generous. The palate bursts with a fresh taste of peach and apples, a refreshing acidity and well balanced and lingering finish. Enjoy it by itself or as a great partner to seafood.

Marco Porello Birbet is a sweet, fizzy red made from partially fermented, bunched Brachetto grapes. It is low in alcohol (5%) and bursting with fantastic flavours of fresh raspberries, blackberries and blackcurrants. The low alcohol and good acidity makes it a great partner for desserts and fruit puddings. It is a real Piedmontese speciality!
