The Capitel della Crosara vineyard lies in the heart of the Valpolicella region and gives its name to Montresor's top Amarone and Ripassso. This is an excellent example with bright, fresh cherry fruit.

A premium Italian red wine using the Cannonau grape, natural to Sardinia and thought to be the oldest wine in the Mediterranean. The nose shows mature red fruits with a note of spice, before a silky, full palate bringing pleasant fruit and earth flavours and an elegant, lasting finish.

Classic barrique-aged Barbera d'Asti from the oldest vineyards of the Il Cascinone estate.

This wine has a velvety texture and aromatic notes of violets, berries and cherries. This Chianti Classico is well rounded and beautifully balanced on the palate, with velvety tannins leading to a long, delicate finish.

Ruby red in colour with violet hues this wine has a complex nose of ripe red fruits. The palate is dry yet soft withthe right amount of tannins and good length.

Barco Reale is the youthful wine from the Carmignano area, made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Soft, full and fruity, it has lovely aromas of cherries and plums.

Dolcetto is a delicate variety, that requires correct exposure, care and attention. For this reason Vajra’s Dolcetto is cultivated only on the most appropriate vineyards. Perfectly balanced with all the elements in harmony.

A more juicy and approachable sangiovese than its big brother, Brunello. The blackberry, red and black cherry fruit is ripe and fragrant while the acidity keeps the wine fresh and vibrant on the palate. The wine still has good structure in the mouth with firm and ripe tannins that hold up well against rich food dishes.

A beautifully supple, finely structured introduction to Barolo - matured in Araldica's cellars in Castel Boglione.

Aromas of dark berry, violet and scorched earth take shape on this. The bright palate offers juicy Marasca cherry, clove and star anise alongside polished tannins and fresh acidity.

Allegrini’s take on the “Ripasso” method is made from a portion of grapes dried just for this wine (and not from the Amarone pomace). It's a smooth, velvety wine with ripe, juicy dark fruit and silky tannins.

Deep red in colour. Hints of blackberry and blackcurrants mix with spicy, balsamic notes on the nose. Great structure on the palate and a long, persistent finish.

The vineyards belonging to this estate are superb; low-trained and planted on the volcanic soils of the slopes of Mount Vulture at altitudes of up to 800 metres above sea level. The area is one of Italy's most remote and poorest. It is isolated and undeveloped and according to consultant winemaker Alberto Antonini, is like stepping back in time a few centuries.

You can see Lake Garda from the top of La Grola vineyard which was bought by Giovanni Allegrini in 1979 to create Valpolicella’s first single vineyard Corvina. Intense yet elegant with a bouquet of wild berries, juniper, tobacco and coffee.

Paolo De Marchi's excellent Chianti Classico is elegant and supple, full of perfumed fruit, with depth, structure and minerality.

Coste & Fossati is a selection of antique biotypes of Dolcetto, selected by Aldo Vajra between 1978 and 1985, and grafted in two of the best vineyards of Bricco di Vergne in Barolo (the vineyard Coste and Fossati). They produce an intense and spiced Dolcetto.

Castagni Reverdito Barolo is brick red in colour with a nose of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, mocha, leather and floral notes. It is full-bodied with bright acidity, lean tannins, and rich flavors of raspberries, cherries, anise, oak and spice.

Accessible and delicious example of a modern style of Amarone in a distinctive black frosted bottle.

The wine has a lovely and intense dark garnet colour. It exudes aromas and flavours of black cherries, chocolate, coffee, and raisins, along with a note of almonds. Despite a formidable structure, the palate is velvety, spicy and elegant, with an extremely long and lingering finish.

Complex, elegant and intense. Notes of ripe cherry, chocolate and tobacco. Mildly spicy and floral.
This wine has great structure with smooth tannins and a long and juicy finish with great acidity.

This Barbera comes from the Conca Tre Pile vineyard which is situated on a steeply sloping part of the Bussia Soprana hill. Here the Barbera vines are up to 45 years old and give a full bodied, concentrated and spicy wine.

A magnificent Amarone - a bitter-sweet cherry delight!

A clear ruby red colour, with light orange reflections; a rather intense and classic aroma, with a slight scent of wood and presence of wild berries. A lovely and harmonious taste with scents of liquorice and sweet tannins.

A wonderful, age-worthy wine that combines plum fruit with dried herbs, chocolate, leather, cloves, and nutmeg. Wonderful integrated tannins and acidity give this wine real finesse and balance.
2015 was described as a "fairy tale" vintage.

Based in south-central Montalcino, Fosscolle has four hectares of vineyards, 2.5 of which are destined for Brunello. Their Brunello shows great balance, elegance and complexity which will continue to develop in the bottle.

Barolo Lecinquevigne distinguishing features are a hue of ruby red with orange-tinted reflections and an intense aroma of rose, leather and tobacco in sequence with hints of violet and tar emerging.
Its taste is ample and enveloping with a feeling of softness and a long, persistent savour prevailing in the mouth.
