Ledaig is a heavily-peated single malt produced at the Tobermory distillery (in contrast with the non-peated Tobermory single malt). The two malts are produced using the same stills, wash backs, mash tuns and the same process water but the two are totally different in character due to the malted barley used.

Distilled in May 2005 and left to mature in a single refill hogshead for 15 years. Bottled in 2020 with just 300 bottles produced.

A smoky sweetness with coastal sea air and charred wood

A caramel sweetness for sure running to bacon crisps, seaweed and peppercorns

Long… maritime with seashells, bonfire embers and gentle spice
