Tasting Note

Owned by Diageo, the distillery first opened in 1846 on the Island of Islay.
This is an independent bottling of 797 bottles from a single refill Oloroso Butt by Douglas Laing.
Caol Ila produces just over 3.5 million litres of malt a year. 95% goes into blends, the main brand being Johnnie Walker Black Label.
