A top notch wild Bandol!

Full of harmony on the palate with delicious red fruit flavours and a suprising spicy finish. Stone fruit and white pepper burst onto the tongue, leading onto a slightly savoury finish. Opulence is the word that springs to mind, stemming from the delicate aromas, with notes of plum, and from the deep red colour. This continues in the complex palate which is both dense and refined, mixing depth and power. Traditional wooden vats are used for fermentation and both new and old barrels for ageing, nine or ten years bottle age will see this perfected!

Merlot-based, this wine has great structure with mouth-filling spicy fruit and fine length. Lovely plummy fruit is backed by fine tannins and the added nuance of Cabernet Franc.

Beautiful wine with a golden glow. Its nose evokes acacia, white flowers with a touch of exotic fruits. The mineral aromas blend perfectly with notes of citrus, honey and a slight touch of hazelnut. The richness of the terroir of this plot brings roundness and length.

A soft and silky Pinot Noir from Burgundy. This red wine has sweet, ripe raspberries and cherries on the nose carried through to the palate. Slightly spicy, elegant and complex.

Located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine Jacqueson’s 18 hectares of vines are spread across some of the region’s best growing sites, including Mercurey, Rully, and Bouzeron. The estate farms their vineyards without herbicides and highlights the importance of keeping yields low. This varietal Chardonnay is more floral and less opulent than most Côte de Beaune bottlings, marked by flavors of mandarin, lemon skin, crushed rocks, and white blossom. Great quality to price ratio!

Wonderfully complex nose, with aromas of cassis and plums, swathed in savoury nuance with hints of truffle, roasted meats coffee and fresh leather. Rich yet graceful with succulent, soft, velvety tannins. At its peak right now, this delicious red still possesses plenty of life and will continue to drink for a few more years yet.

Rich burgundy color with slight browning on the edges. Nose of earth, ripe raspberries and tobacco. Flavors are similar but with the addition of smoke, brown sugar and bay leaf. Slight tartness on the perimeter of the mouthfeel. Delicate in feel, with a finish that dissipates into a slight tartness.

This has a very fine nose with delicate floral notes as well as apples, pears and a wonderful citrus-blossom aroma. On the palate this is elegant and mineral with delicious white fruit character and a lovely saline finish.

This Grand Cru Riesling is produced by Bruno Sorg and comes from the steeply terraced Grand Cru Pfersigberg vineyard near Eguisheim. The wine is dry and complex with the classic ripe red apple flavours and a steely dryness combined with refreshing acidity. Will age well over 10 years.

A full, firm, ripe left-bank claret that shows style and richness. Superb vintage.

From a vineyard of over 60 year old vines, high up on an east-south-east facing slope. More up front flavour compared to the Vasées. Good tension. Again, not plush. It has a serious approach. Energetic acidity throughout. The mineral character is particularly evident in the finish. 40% new wood here. Cherry fruit, and cherry-skin tannins on the finish. Concentrated fruit mixed with sou-bois, with fine tension.

From a well-placed vineyard adjoining premier cru Les Castets. Fresh and fruity with lovely, honeyed chardonnay nose. This is now aged like all the premiers crus in 30% new oak barrels.

A cracking wine, only produced in the best years. 100% sauvignon grapes aged in new oak to give an interesting and full wine with elegance. On the nose, there are notes of almond and exotic fruits which are followed in the mouth by more floral, elegant flavours.

The Mercurey V.V. from Raquillet is made from 60-year-old vines and offers a ripe, spicy, and densely fruited nose of violets, dark berries and dried herbs. In the mouth, dense, delicious and velvety flavors with fine complexity on the impressively long finish.

Rich, spicy fruit with a solid structure from one of the best estates in the region. Les Racines is a parcel selection of the oldest vines.

An assembly of different climates of Fuisse which gives it complexity and balance. It is a wine that is powerful and fat with a nice typical Burgundy mineral freshness.

All the spice and richness you would expect but also full of fresh juicy fruit.

Unique and expressive white Burgundy.

The 2018 Rully Rouge has a slightly smudged, savoury nose. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a little hardness to contend with at first, but there is a fine structure on the finish. Drink over the next four to five years.
