This is a special cuvee in honour of his Yves' grandfather, Fernand. The grapes come from four very high quality plots starting from 'Les Pellans' in the south leading to 'Les Pelles Dessous' and 'Au Moulin Landin' next to the village and ending with 'Le Pre de Manche' in the north. With a total of 1.26 hectares under vine and an exposure arcing round from east to south on limestone and marl soils, these wines are rich, well-structured with a long, persistent finish.

It has been 15 years since Vincent Boyer took the reins from his father and put his stamp on Domaine Yves Boyer-Martenot. His tenacity in the vineyards and dedication to balance and freshness has led to wines of increased terroir clarity and chiseled Meursault typicity

The wine is bold and full of tropical fruit with a powerful and lingering appeal on the palate.
This Premier Cru wine has been selected from the best parcels of land where the grapes are exposed to the maximum amount of sunshine which ensures optimum ripeness before the harvest.
