A beautiful wine that provides hints of summer to be sampled year round! A definite hit with the Martinez team, described as very gluggable. Honeysuckle notes, light and floral but with a structure that will develop. It is a baby sister to the Chateauneuf du Pape.
Very beautiful purple colour, brilliant bright. Nose of fresh fruit, intense, with morello cherry, blackberry, red fruit coulis. The palate is fleshy, round, full of fruit but without hardness and has soft silky tannins.
Apricots, peaches and lime, but also floral and spicy aromas and flavours and yet retaining a lovely dry, crisp, refreshing style. Its texture is soft without being oily and the body is more medium than light.
Aromas of boxwood, wild juniper and cistus flowers give way to notes of red fruit, cherry and redcurrant. The sensation in the mouth is delicate, smooth and balanced, with a succulently fruity and spicy.

From the newest of the French classifications this replaces the Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire. Made from a blend of 20% Pinot Noir and 80% Gamay. The wine itself has a palate of firm dark cherry, sweet spice, cloves and elements of black pepper both on the nose and palate. Best served with red meats and soft cheese
Intense purple color with a heady nose of blackberry. Juicy red and black berries are amply supported by red fruit, dill, woodsmoke, crushed stones, white pepper, tobacco, cocoa and subtle baked apple notes.
Earthy nose with black cherry, menthol and briarwood hints – classic southern France. Medium-to-full-bodied with moderate acidity and firm, dry tannin – good balance. Dark fruit core with black cherry, rose attar and tarry notes. Long finish – smooth with dark chocolate and cocoa dust. Lovely.
Often seen as a satellite of Bordeaux, Bergerac offers fine value with the same grapes grown south east . An earthy blend of Merlot and Cabernet , this has plenty of fleshy dark berry fruit and a light dusting of tannin. Terrific with leg of lamb.
Sémillon and 15% Sauvignon Gris and reminded me of Margaret River whites with its shimmering, verdant fruitiness, backed up by savoury, leesy flavour. With no oak influence and 12.5% alcohol, it's an easy drinker that has substance and plentiful flavour.
