Countess classic vodka is tripled distilled then blended with the finest Northumbrian spring water. This water has been slowly filtered through rock and minerals for over 150 years, giving the vodka its pure quality and taste.

Our story started in one of England’s last wild sanctuaries in the remote moors of Northumberland, the whipping winds amongst the age of juniper bushes at Hepple, and our pursuit of a gin to make the perfect dry martini.

The only way to capture the wild heart of this juniper was to completely rethink how the gin was made.

Thus our Triple Technique was born.

Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a full, rounded flavour and after-taste.

Best served at about 51°F (11°C).
