Browse by Grape - Parellada
Spanish variety mainly found in the Catalan region, and which is mainly used for Cava production, but sometimes finds its way into brandies. If planted in poor quality soils the resultant wine can be fresh and crisp with an appley character. Its tendency to over produce in quality soils often means Parellada wines can be of low quality. Its also quite resistant to rot which makes it quite popular.
