This unusual blend of grapes is full of rich, juicy fruit with a spicy finsh. Much more interesting than most auzzie wines at this level (and higher) that we have seen for a long time. Great value and one that we thouroughly recommend.

Made from 85% Merlot and 15% Sangiovese grapes, resulting in a harmonious flavour of black cherry fruit with a hint of mint and chocolate.

Notes of red cherry and hints of spice.

Bright gulpable fruits with lovey intense raspberry and red cherry flavours but backed up with hidden depths of darker berry flavours and an elegant but powerful finish.

A wine with lovely depth and breadth that retains the tell-tale elegance of this marvellous estate.

This is a textbook example of how well Sangiovese and Cabernet can work together, with the Cab filling out the mid palate and adding rich fruit and dark chocolate notes to the finish. The nose has deep fruit concentration with dark cherries and herbs from the Sangiovese, whilst steely tannins lend the wine structure and ageability. Fantastic with lamb rack.

Despite its full-bodied feel there's an attractively elegant aspect to this powerful red.

A full bodied wine, has soft fruit on the palate and a long finish. Intense ruby red colour, with perfumes of wild red berries and a hint of dried grapes. Delicious! Drinking well now, but will keep for 8-10 years.

Our tasting note reads 'Massive! A monster but with fantastic depth'. We're quite keen.
