This unique establishment is situated in Aguilar de la Frontera, 50 kilometers south of Cordoba. Founded in 1844 by Antonio Sánchez Prieto it was originally located in a giant windmill but moved in 1922 to the former electricity generating station (the oldest of the PX range is known as Electrico) where it is now housed. The winery itself, with its 37 hectares - 7.2 of which are now officially categorized as ecological - is 12 kilometres away in Moriles.
