Florally fragrant on the nose and the bouquet of flowers is backed up by dried fruits with fragrances that have immense charm. The palate is light but the fruit is sweet giving a richer feel towards the back. The dried fruit spice, so typical of the grape, is very much evident.
This Torrontés is pale yellow in colour with a hint of green. Its bouquet offers great intensity typifying the aromatic elegance of Torrontés, tasting of roses and orange blossoms, orange peel and delicate herbacious notes can be perceived. In the mouth it feels fresh with a perfect balance of acidity that invites you to enjoy another glass, the final mouth feel is persistent.
Intense gold in colour with tints of green. On the nose this wine is intense and complex with aromas of citrus and grapefruit typical of Torrontes and a touch of minerality. Delicate and silky on the palate with great freshness and crisp acidity on the distinctly mineral finish.
This unoaked Chardonnay offers a rich and creamy mouth feel that leads to lovely soft tropical fruits and orange zest on the palate. Zingy acidity underpins the flavours and keeps them lingering on the palate.
This unusual blend of grapes is full of rich, juicy fruit with a spicy finsh. Much more interesting than most auzzie wines at this level (and higher) that we have seen for a long time. Great value and one that we thouroughly recommend.
A weightier style of Grüner than some, including Pfaffl's own The Dot Apple Grüner, thanks to a later harvest and more skin contact. Rich apple fruit, with a hint of pepper and a mineral, citrus zesty finish.
