A dessert wine made from choice white grapes of the Malvasia del Chianti and Pulcinculo (Grechetto Bianco) varieties, selected at harvest-time and are laid out to dry until the beginning of February. The storing and ageing of the wine then takes place in small oak barrels which impart flavours of sweet spice and vanilla to the finished wine. It is amber in colour, the aroma is intense with notes of ripe fruit and it is broad, velvety and mouth-filling on the palate.

This wine is an explosion of dried fruit flavours and hints of frangipani notes on the nose. The palate is exciting and vibrant, dried apricots and dried pineapple flavours are very expressive and there is great play between the sweetness and racy acidity on the palate. This is a hall mark of a great sweet wine as it does not leave a sweet and cloying sensation in the mouth, but rather of freshness and balance.

Bright; light and clean the nose is of pears in syrup; with more aromatic and tropical Sauvignon notes of passionfruit and peach. The pallet is light and fresh; with perfectly balances sweetness and acidity. Lots more passionfruit; honeysuckle and lifted tropical fruits on the finish.

Clear and bright mahogany in colour, it has aromas of grapey fruit, marmalade and toasted notes. It is smooth, complex, refreshingly sweet and palate cleansing.

Clos Sant Pau Penedès DO2 has a golden color with greenish hues. It has an intense, and fresh nose. Aromas of orange peel and white truffle. On the palate, it presents itself as an elegant sweet wine with a predominance of white fruit and light touches of Mediterranean herbs: fennel and lemon verbena.

An intense golden raisin, apricot and honey character makes this limited-production wine a dessert in itself.
