Spicy, characterful, southern red from vineyards in conversion to organic.

Bright red colour with a touch of ruby. On the nose there is a a mixture of red fruit with notes of undergrowth.
With its complex mixture of red berries overlaid with touches of undergrowth and with its fine tannins, this wine will seduce your senses and bring a touch of elegance.

A brilliant deep purple red colour. The nose, typical of this appellation bordering with Spain whose vines spread over the foothills of the Pyrenees, harbours black fruit and notes of garrigue with juniper and spices offering the powerful fragrance that is specific to the Roussillon. Generous, with cinnamon, liquorice and white pepper, followed by hints of blackberry and blackcurrant with a beautifully fresh, lightly menthol finish. Excellent balance with great harmony between maturity, freshness and silky tannins. A wine that is typically Mediterranean and superbly elegant at the same time.

Rasteau’s elevation to cru status in 2010, solely for its highly regarded dry red wines was widely welcomed. Domaine la Font de Notre Dame, a charming small domaine owned by brothers Frédéric and Boris Roux, produce a traditionally made Rasteau with typical appellation complexity.

From Cairanne, the Southern Rhone’s newest Cru, Les Six is all about elegance and the expression of six different grape varieties (in an appellation usually dominated by just two) blended together in the tradition of yesteryear.

Grenache is predominant as with all the wines of the Domaine. It is blended with Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan. There is a rigorous selection of the grapes during the vendage.

Deep colour. Clean and straightforward on the nose, showing a beautiful identity. It is intense and concentrated with notes of red and black fruit - with a predominance of blackcurrants. The texture on the palate is supple, concentrated and balanced: the tannins are fine. Notes of liquorice, menthol, garrigue, bay leaves, blackcurrants and spices.

An elegant nose of black fruit is followed by a remarkable palate of blackcurrant, thyme, liquorice and tobacco characters. Warming peppery spice on the finish makes this perfect with casseroles.

Powerful and full bodied wine, mainly coming from a sandy and pebbly soil.

Great finesse on the nose, wich releases a mixture of red fruit, fig and soft spicy note. On the palate, the wine shows great elegance and a lovely weave of red fruit and very fine tannins.

All the spice and richness you would expect but also full of fresh juicy fruit.

Château Maucoil Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition Rouge Organic wine is delightful and intense, with lovely balance and great elegance. Made from organically grown grapes, the wine has lovely ripe spicy fruit, red berry flavours with a herby edge and so is a classic CNP very much of its place, warm and rich but well balanced too with a nice lift to the finish. Absolutely delicious with beef casserole or mushroom risotto.

Since the elevation of Cairanne to a southern Rhône cru, this first release of 'La Côte Sauvage' continues to be characterised by its finesse and finely-grained texture, due in part to the famous ‘argilo-calcaire’ of our hilltop vineyards such as La Pauline and Les Six Terrasses, slow winemaking methods and gentle maturation in different sized barrels of old French oak.

Well-structured, concentrated, and full-bodied, it offers a classic southern Rhone aromatic display of ground pepper, garrigue, cherry liqueur, plums, and cedar with sweet, expansive, and pure fruit flavours and excellent delineation
