The palate displays dark fruit flavours, revealing white pepper, cinnamon, clove and vanilla spice. Gentle oak integration bodes well for a long and graceful bottle maturation of this wine. 97% Syrah, 3% Viognier.

The wine has a bouquet of wild bramble berry like fruit that is backed up by layers of all-spice and cinnamon. On the palate there are layers of summer berries that give way to a rich yet elegant mid-palate. The wine has a deceptive complexity that shows a lingering finish that has hints of Christmas cake!!
