Kaapzicht's Estate Red is a Shiraz/Cabernet dominant blend from their estate vineyards in Stellenbosch.

Named after a former owner of Rustenberg, John Xavier Merriman, who bought the farm in 1892 in sympathy with farmers suffering from the phylloxera crisis.

The red clay and rich soils bring softer and plush elegant fruit to the aromatics. They also create tannins which are richer softer and sweeter to the other reds from the Waterford Estate. This blend consists of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec.

Better known as a variety in the great wines of Tokaji, at Lemberg Hárslevelü produces a dry white wine from vines planted in 1983.

The Mediterranean varietals typical to the regions of Southern France has inspired this blend made from vineyards in the Tulbagh Valley.

Intense red-purple in the glass. Initial smoky cloves and savoury notes give way to a plum and black cherry nose with hints of sweet oak spice. Medium bodied with well-integrated oak and fruit, this wine has a smooth tannin structure and lingering spice flavours.

Kaapzicht's Pinotage comes from 20-year-old bush vines planted in weathered granite soil. The vineyards are all dry land, unirrigated.
