Louis Guntrum Oppenheim Herrenberg Auslese is a sweet white German Riesling from the Rheinehessen.

Karl Johner Pinot Noir is a made in the Burgundian style – the focus at Johner is on wines full of structure but with purity and elegance.

Bright ruby red with a complex bouquet of spices and ripe dark fruits. On the palate the wine offers gentle tannins enhanced with an abundance of fruit intensity, creating the impression of strength and balance. Persistent aftertaste with a repetition of its spices.

The “Aggelis” vineyard, planted on native rootstock of the Liatiko grape, highlights the authenticity and wealth of eastern Crete. The low yields lead to small grapes, of exceptionally high berry density, which are then vinified, almost uncrushed, in small vats. Respect to natural micro-flora that defines fermentations, results in a rare wine, characterised by a self-sufficient flavour and aromatic fullness.

Warming spices and red berries on the nose lead into exotic flavors of coffee, vanilla bean and dried currants on the palate. The wine's age has also revealed appealing toasted nut and dried herb characteristics. It is a distinctive red with panache.

Legend has it that Egri Bikaver or “Bulls Blood”, as it is better known, inspired the mighty Magyars to defeat the invading Ottomans in 1456. Whilst we can’t claim this wine will repel an invading army, we can say that it will inspire your taste buds! A heady blend of 6 grape varieties with dark, tarry fruit, red cherry aromas and a silky texture.

The Capitel della Crosara vineyard lies in the heart of the Valpolicella region and gives its name to Montresor's top Amarone and Ripassso. This is an excellent example with bright, fresh cherry fruit.

This wine is straw yellow in colour with youthful highlights. It is lightly spiced on the nose from the partial oak ageing, which gives way to a fine, floral and ripe citrus fruit character. On the palate, the wine has good length with ripe pear flavours continuing through to the finish.

Lugarara is produced from a single vineyard with soils of grey marl and a sandy topsoil. The palate is balanced with fresh acidity and good structure. Citrus and almond perfumes follow through to the long finish.

This wine has a velvety texture and aromatic notes of violets, berries and cherries. This Chianti Classico is well rounded and beautifully balanced on the palate, with velvety tannins leading to a long, delicate finish.

Ruby red in colour with violet hues this wine has a complex nose of ripe red fruits. The palate is dry yet soft withthe right amount of tannins and good length.

A beautifully supple, finely structured introduction to Barolo - matured in Araldica's cellars in Castel Boglione.

A more juicy and approachable sangiovese than its big brother, Brunello. The blackberry, red and black cherry fruit is ripe and fragrant while the acidity keeps the wine fresh and vibrant on the palate. The wine still has good structure in the mouth with firm and ripe tannins that hold up well against rich food dishes.

Aromas of dark berry, violet and scorched earth take shape on this. The bright palate offers juicy Marasca cherry, clove and star anise alongside polished tannins and fresh acidity.

Allegrini’s take on the “Ripasso” method is made from a portion of grapes dried just for this wine (and not from the Amarone pomace). It's a smooth, velvety wine with ripe, juicy dark fruit and silky tannins.

The hilltop town of Montepulciano lies in the south of Tuscany near the town of Siena. The surrounding vineyards are planted with indigenous Sangiovese grapes (Prugnolo), used to produce one of Italy`s noblest red wines. Susanna Crociani blends Sangiovese with a little Canaiolo and Mammolo, and traditional winemaking methods encourage extraction of voluptuous fruit character, with a distinct mineral and subtle oak influence after two and a half years in barrel and a further six months in bottle. The wine is ruby red with an orange tint, leading to a delicate and intense wine.

Coste & Fossati is a selection of antique biotypes of Dolcetto, selected by Aldo Vajra between 1978 and 1985, and grafted in two of the best vineyards of Bricco di Vergne in Barolo (the vineyard Coste and Fossati). They produce an intense and spiced Dolcetto.

Deep red in colour. Hints of blackberry and blackcurrants mix with spicy, balsamic notes on the nose. Great structure on the palate and a long, persistent finish.

The vineyards belonging to this estate are superb; low-trained and planted on the volcanic soils of the slopes of Mount Vulture at altitudes of up to 800 metres above sea level. The area is one of Italy's most remote and poorest. It is isolated and undeveloped and according to consultant winemaker Alberto Antonini, is like stepping back in time a few centuries.

Very inviting spiced honeyed nose and some creamy, lightly spiced aromas as if it had some oak influence. Nutty, citrus, with just discernible floral and apricot notes. Full of flavour and yet restraint, cool and fresh and lingeringly elegant and aromatic.
