This 2017 Shiraz made by Tom Barry, the talented grandson of Jim Barry, has rich dark berried fruit character that is layered with hints of spice and violet. Appealing, lively and spine-tingling to its core, the palate perfectly balances the flavours of lime juice, lemon curd and subtle tropical notes with naturally occurring acidity in a generous, yet tightly wound, persistent finish. A wine with a long cellaring potential ahead of it.

This wine is bright ruby red in colour with a vivid purple rim in the glass. Aromas of ripe dark fruits such as blood plum and blackberry are complemented by savoury notes of black olives and oak char. From 'The King of Riesling', this hard rock site is overlaid with silty, low fertility soils, producing restrained, steely, pure wines. The Polish Hill vineyard was planted in 1996, following years of research into the effect of soil, rock and altitude on Riesling.

Clonakilla's star wine. Inspired by time spent in the Northern Rhône, Tim has been co-fermenting these two varieties with multi award-winning results for 23 years.

This wine is pale yellow in colour with intense fruity aromas of pineapple, melon, citrus and guava on the nose. The palate is juicy and fresh with a racy acidity and hints of orange blossom and green pepper on the long, lively finish.

Beautiful salmon-pink Provence rosé has a very pretty scent of crushed strawberries, peach, rose-water and orange blossom. On the palate, it is wonderfully dry and crisp with delicate summer berry fruits balanced by citrus zest acidity and a deliciously creamy finish. A fabulously sophisticated rosé that is perfect for summer picnics or evening aperitif. Whispering Angel is the big name in Provence.

A light bodied, fruity red with aromas of strawberry jam with tart flavours of cherries and raspberries and ever so light savoury notes. Very Classy!

From the heart of the Loire Valley this wine is pure opulence. All the fruit is from a small limestone-rich vineyard in the heart of the Loire. Honeyed pear, quince, yellow apple dominate the palate with a slight smoky quality. The palate is rich yet zippy, complex yet fresh. Try with shellfish or pork. This will cellar for another 10 years or so. Biodynamic.

Started in 1910 by Jean-Baptiste Pillot, the domaine is now run by Jean-Marc who has quietly turned his domaine into one of the finest of Chassagne Montrachet. Smooth and ripe, delicious to drink now and over the next few years.

A minute 0.48-hectare parcel from vines with an average age of 30-years-old. The vineyard is situated to the north of the appellation and is without doubt one of the best parcels in Beaune, little surprise it was revered by the by the dukes of Burgundy and is where the parcel takes its name.

Dark and concentrated aromas of black and bramble fruits with added toasted oak spice. Powerful and intense, yet retains excellent vibrancy from the silky, soft tannins and forward, ripe fruit that combine to keep everything in check. Fabulously perfumed stuff, and possibly the very best Soave Clsssico in existence. The reason lies both in the vineyards, which are vigorously maintained, and the rigorous fruit selection of the bought-in grapes. The wine is rich and balanced and with a searing flavour sadly absent from most modern Soave.

This Valpolicella from the hills of the Classico area is a delicious example of the wine this area is famous for. Corvina expresses its vibrant and quaffable character with fresh and bright cherry flavours.
