This Domaine Horgelus red wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat, the latter being a local grape variety making rich and powerful reds. The wine has a fabulous concentration with aromas of blackcurrant, licquorice and spices. On the palate it has soft, ripe tannins to support the dark fruit flavours. Smooth and deeply flavoured it is the ideal accompaniment to grilled or roast meats and soft cheeses.

The nose has generous notes of blackberry and lavender whilst the palate has soft rounded tanins. Long black berried fruit flavours are backed up with a spicy finish.

Bright red colour with a touch of ruby. On the nose there is a a mixture of red fruit with notes of undergrowth.
With its complex mixture of red berries overlaid with touches of undergrowth and with its fine tannins, this wine will seduce your senses and bring a touch of elegance.

Rasteau’s elevation to cru status in 2010, solely for its highly regarded dry red wines was widely welcomed. Domaine la Font de Notre Dame, a charming small domaine owned by brothers Frédéric and Boris Roux, produce a traditionally made Rasteau with typical appellation complexity.

Tannat softened down with Cabernet Franc – Great weight and density, with power from tannins but fruit and supple juiciness from blackberry and black cherry notes.

A full-flavoured and perfumed wine showing notes of ripe cassis with elegant cedar and chocolate notes and a fine, velvety texture.

Planted on pink granite hillsides, Fleurie is a fruity and structured wine, all in suppleness. We find notes of strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant. To be enjoyed with cold cuts or white meats, Fleurie is also one of the rare red wines that can be enjoyed with fish.

An elegant nose of black fruit is followed by a remarkable palate of blackcurrant, thyme, liquorice and tobacco characters. Warming peppery spice on the finish makes this perfect with casseroles.

A light bodied, fruity red with aromas of strawberry jam with tart flavours of cherries and raspberries and ever so light savoury notes. Very Classy!

Rich and concentrated wines in the area of Rasteau come from perfectly ripe Grenache & Syrah grapes and low yields.
The wine boasts a deep ruby sustained, shimmering bright purplish colour.
Sweet aromas of stewed fruit: cherry, blackberry, prune, fig and wild raspberries on a background of licorice form a complex, focused and enjoyable nose.
The palate confirms the beautiful ripeness and is well coated with sweet notes of cherry, prune and fig. The finish is long, powerful and generously spiced.
A pleasant, smooth wine with an aromatic character, splendid value too, better than many a cheap Chateauneuf Du Pape.

Opaque, perfumed with fragrant black cherry, cassis and spice. Full bodied, intense with countless layers of flavour including blackcurrant, cedar and graphite. Dense fruit on the palate is bound by a structure of fine grained tannins and a lively acidity. This wine shows great depth and character and yet is refined with a long, elegant finish.

Powerful and full bodied wine, mainly coming from a sandy and pebbly soil.

A nose of violets, raspberry, elderberry and blackcurrant leads to a palate of black fruit and subtle spices. A great summer drink.

A soft and silky Pinot Noir from Burgundy. This red wine has sweet, ripe raspberries and cherries on the nose carried through to the palate. Slightly spicy, elegant and complex.

Rich, spicy fruit with a solid structure from one of the best estates in the region. Les Racines is a parcel selection of the oldest vines.

All the spice and richness you would expect but also full of fresh juicy fruit.

The 2018 Rully Rouge has a slightly smudged, savoury nose. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a little hardness to contend with at first, but there is a fine structure on the finish. Drink over the next four to five years.

Well-structured, juicy and bursting with energy, showing cherry, raspberry and spice flavors, with stony, chalky notes. Though this red is firm, the lively acidity drives the long, mouthwatering finish

Givry is one of the premium red wine producing appellations in the Cote Chalonnaise producing approachable and refined wines. Pinot Noir is sourced from Southern and Southwestern exposed slopes at 850 feet above sea level and Eastern and Southeastern sun exposure at 836 feet above sea level. Primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks with light punch downs and aged in barrel (70% new) for one year with one racking before bottling.

Pommard, that sonorous name, generous and evocative of an iconic Burgundy village and vineyard. Located between Beaune and Volnay, Pommard wines are the very symbol of Burgundy red wines and, since the Middle Ages, a benchmark, "The Flower of the wines of Beaune".

This lesser known village, just above Aloxe Corton, produces great value red Burgundy, particularly by Monsieur Cornu.

The 2019 Givry Crausot 1er Cru has an intense bouquet, the fruit darker than the à Vigne Rouge, very well defined with a touch more spiciness. The palate is well balanced with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, quite fleshy towards the finish with cranberry and raspberry lingering on the aftertaste. This remains a quality Givry from one of Givry’s best producers.

Strawberry fruit balanced with silky tannins, perfectly weighted and structured. A great example of Pinot Noir at its most appealing.
