No myth or legend here. Instead, a real big beast of a wine from the Mendoza Valley, Argentina. Deep, brooding and dark. Big fruit, big spice, big flavours.

This wild fermented Riesling from the oldest vines planted in 1980 at the estate’s Butlers’ Grant Vineyard is aged on its lees for six months and undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. It has a mineral rich nose of salinity and wet stones with lemon/lime zest, green apple, peach, and those vineyard-specific ginger notes always prevalent from this vineyard. That lees aging brings out a creamy feel on the palate with green pear, gushing lime, lemon zest and, yes, more ginger in a more rounded, texturally satisfying style with just a touch of sweetness tempered by the racy acidity.

Rich dark fruit, notes of blueberry, accompanied by velvety dark chocolate and cocoa. Hints of cedar and a subtle smokiness are complemented by undertones of blackberry and molasses.

A nose of tropical fruit flavours leads to a mouthful of guava and mango.

Fresh figs on the nose and soft plums galore in this great value vino.

This Grand Cru Riesling is produced by Bruno Sorg and comes from the steeply terraced Grand Cru Pfersigberg vineyard near Eguisheim. The wine is dry and complex with the classic ripe red apple flavours and a steely dryness combined with refreshing acidity. Will age well over 10 years.

A cracking wine, only produced in the best years. 100% sauvignon grapes aged in new oak to give an interesting and full wine with elegance. On the nose, there are notes of almond and exotic fruits which are followed in the mouth by more floral, elegant flavours.

This St Emilion Grand Cru really hit the mark in 2018 with 97 points from James Suckling. From a great vintage, this claret, aged in new oak, is "sleek and tight with crunchy berry, mineral and zesty notes on the finish. Complex". Worth tucking away.
Polished with sleek tannins, deep ripe chocolaty fruit and freshness.

A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Dense ruby/purple, with notes of blueberry pie interwoven with charcoal, liquorice, some chalky crushed rocks and a distinctive floral note. The wine is succulent and fleshy, with low acidity and layers of fruit. A sensational effort from this cru bourgeois

Led by Valentino Sciotti and consulted by Alberto Antonini, this Montepulciano is produced in a forward, approachable style. Ruby red with violet highlights, it has cherry, sour cherry and blackberry aromas are supported with an intense balsamic note.

This wine is straw yellow in colour with youthful highlights. It is lightly spiced on the nose from the partial oak ageing, which gives way to a fine, floral and ripe citrus fruit character. On the palate, the wine has good length with ripe pear flavours continuing through to the finish.

This wine shows a deep red colour with shades of ruby on the rim of the glass. To the nose, at the time of release, it revealed a delicate balance between ripe red berry aromas and those of spices and smokiness. Over time, the bouquet has grown more complex, showing aromas of leather, coffee beans and raisins. Mouthfeel is as firm, elegant and smooth as one should expect from a Rioja Gran Reserva, with a surprisingly long and fresh finish.

Only made in the finest years, this ultra-traditional Rioja is much sought after.
