This wine from Vallisto is a modern classic, retaining the scented nuances of Salta – arguably the true home of the grape – but offering pristine freshness in the mouth coupled with delightful length and poise.

A special Malbec from vines grown at 2600 metres in the Valles Calchaquies in Salta, North West Argentina. This wild rugged landscape produces a wine of both concentration and finesse. The wine is produced in very small amounts and is a absolute treat for lovers of Malbec looking for modern take on this classic varietal.

Appealing, lively and spine-tingling to its core, the palate perfectly balances the flavours of lime juice, lemon curd and subtle tropical notes with naturally occurring acidity in a generous, yet tightly wound, persistent finish. A wine with a long cellaring potential ahead of it.

Vibrant in colour, with lots of luminous green tints. Lovely florals and green apple blossom aromas. Mouth-filling flavours of lime juice, green apple, and lemon pith balancing the zesty acid backbone. The flavours linger on for quite some time, a classic Hunter Valley Semillon to enjoy now or age gracefully.

The gundog winnery take pride with the wild Semillon by pushing boundaries of conventional winemaking by fermenting a portion of the wine on skins (like a red wine) using natural or “indigenous” yeast. The aim is to create a very textural and complex style of Semillon that showcases another side of this great wine grape.

With tasting notes of very aromatic lemongrass, peach and some herbal tea notes. The palate is bright and fleshy with some residual sweetness there to offset phenolics (tannin) and acidity.

Pale lemon colour and a nose of apples, fresh hay with a hint of vanilla and grapefruit citrus notes. There are orange flower notes to the nose which follow through to the palate with sweet basil, peach and tarte tatin flavours which will develop as the wine ages.

The 2017 vintage looks to be very promising indeed, the wines of this year are unique, yet retaining classical Chateau Musar character. Three factors come to our minds, the similarity in style of the different decades ending in 7, the taste of the last vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon harvested and powerful aromas. It has a bright ruby colour and there are sweet red cherries, mulberries and plums on the nose with a hint of tea tree and liquorice. The tannins are soft and well-integrated and this vintage has good acidity, depth of fruit and a long finish. Cellared well, it will age beautifully for decades.

A beautiful deep, ruby hue with lots of almost confected cherry, blackcurrant and cranberries on the nose with a hint of liquorice. The palate has an explosion of brambly and hedgerow fruits with blueberries and cherries - this is a mid-weight vintage from Chateau Musar with excellent acidity and fine tannins

Sourced from three estate vineyards in the Livermore valley which are planted on sloping benchs to produce luscious wines with deep richness. Each vineyard is picked ripe to accentuate the deep jammy fruit flavours, yet the alcohol remains balanced. Aromas and flavors of raspberry, blackberry, spice and black pepper. With a firm tannic backbone and ripe chewy finish.

Opaque purple in colour, smoky and minerally on the nose. Well coated tannins integrate on the palate with black currant and plum fruit. Finishes with notes of eucalyptus and mint.
