This has a very fine nose with delicate floral notes as well as apples, pears and a wonderful citrus-blossom aroma. On the palate this is elegant and mineral with delicious white fruit character and a lovely saline finish.

Unique and expressive white Burgundy.

Pommard, that sonorous name, generous and evocative of an iconic Burgundy village and vineyard. Located between Beaune and Volnay, Pommard wines are the very symbol of Burgundy red wines and, since the Middle Ages, a benchmark, "The Flower of the wines of Beaune".

This lesser known village, just above Aloxe Corton, produces great value red Burgundy, particularly by Monsieur Cornu.

The nose has wonderful grapefruit zest bitterness, with some gentle floral influenced honey. The palate in bright and clean acidity, and a voluptuous depth of stone fruit on the mid-palate. with subtle smokiness. It is a highly complex village wine that should evolve well for many years.

Jean-Marc uses barrels for three years (a third new, a third one year and a third two years) which brings harmony and balance to the wine. Floral aromas and red apple carrying through to a well textured palate.
