This batch comes from cooler climate fruit, mainly Banghoek and Franschhoek. 12% ABV and lighter in style than the usual Wild House blend but with real quality, it's excellent in its own right.

Deep ruby with exuberant mulberry, plum, pepper and modest oak spice supported by soft ripe tannins that provide a well-structured and balanced juicy finish of pleasing length and finesse.

Alluring aromas of floral notes and plum with hints of spicy fruit. The palate expresses white pepper spice, spicy plum and dark berries with a long, fresh finish.

Deep, purple core with a rich, berry fruit nose with lots of ripe red plum and whiffs of white pepper. Some floral notes in the background, including violets, lavender and spring blossoms. Full in the mouth with tremendous youthful vigour and layers of berry fruit with developing spices of pepper, cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Gentle oak integration shows and supports the elegance and roundness at this early age.

Powerful, explosive and medium- to full-bodied with the precision of 2017 shining through to a long-defined finish.
