Browse by Region in Spain - Ribera del Duero
Spain's greatest wines come from this fantastic region. Over 12,500 hectares of vines spread over four provences (Burgos, Valladolid, Soria and Segovia) make some of the finest red wine in existence, with the legendary Vega Sicilia leading the way for both demand and quality.
Temperature extremes, from 6ºC at night to over 30ºC during the day, produces intensely flavoured grapes that are refelected in intensely-flavoured, powerfully-structured and often very long-lived wines.

The deep crimson-coloured 2006 Quinta Sardonia gives up an aromatic array of cedar, Asian spices, incense, and blackberry. Savoury and supple on the palate, it has enough underlying structure to evolve for 2-3 years and should be at its best from 2012 to 2026.
