This Barbera comes from the Conca Tre Pile vineyard which is situated on a steeply sloping part of the Bussia Soprana hill. Here the Barbera vines are up to 45 years old and give a full bodied, concentrated and spicy wine.

Medium red in colour with brick tones. On the nose, this wine is all spices and cloves. On the palate, it is lean with a great structure. It has flavours of bitter cherries and earthy liquorice. The finish is good with a lingering persistence in the mouth.

The palate is full bodied with great density in the mouth and robust jammy wild friuts such as damson, persimmons, plum and ripe blackberry flavours. Grippy tannins hold this big wine together and leads into a long finish with lingering black fruits and spice.
