Pol Roger et Cie is one of the few remaining independent Houses in Champagne owned and run by the family, who are still fully responsible for the winemaking and selection of cuvées each year, with a high proportion of grapes sourced from wholly-owned vineyards.
Pol Roger’s two sons , Maurice and Georges, managed the House following the founder’s death in 1899 and it is their direct descendents – under the family names of Pol-Roger and de Billy - who run the business today.
They are one of the smaller of the great Houses in the area and are uncompromising in their refusal to release wine onto the market until it is fully mature.

Chardonnay
Fleshy fruit sits happily alongside notes of vanilla, cinnamon and marshmallow giving a lovely complexity to the whole. The wine is round and mouth filling with great balance.
