Amply fruited with a saline lick. Good volume in the mouth and excellent shape and texture. There's no shortage of ripeness but the wine maintains excellent freshness and is very minerally. Quite delicious.

Lots of tropical fruit flavours mingling with a lovely gentle oak. A splendid Chardonnay.

Fifth generation winemaker Cedric Chêne is now at the winemaking helm at this top class 60 acre family estate situated in southern Burgundy just north of Mâcon. Outstanding wines made in miniscule quantities.

Complex and well rounded Chablis from vines averaging over 40 years of age.

A velvety smooth Chardonnay, well rounded with a soft texture; done entirely in stainless steel. It shows great finesse and remarkable balance.

A soft and silky Pinot Noir from Burgundy. This red wine has sweet, ripe raspberries and cherries on the nose carried through to the palate. Slightly spicy, elegant and complex.

The bolder Michaut style deftly added to the more restrained style of Vau-Lignau to create a textural, elegant white.

The 2018 Rully Rouge has a slightly smudged, savoury nose. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a little hardness to contend with at first, but there is a fine structure on the finish. Drink over the next four to five years.

Well-structured, juicy and bursting with energy, showing cherry, raspberry and spice flavors, with stony, chalky notes. Though this red is firm, the lively acidity drives the long, mouthwatering finish

Givry is one of the premium red wine producing appellations in the Cote Chalonnaise producing approachable and refined wines. Pinot Noir is sourced from Southern and Southwestern exposed slopes at 850 feet above sea level and Eastern and Southeastern sun exposure at 836 feet above sea level. Primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks with light punch downs and aged in barrel (70% new) for one year with one racking before bottling.

Pommard, that sonorous name, generous and evocative of an iconic Burgundy village and vineyard. Located between Beaune and Volnay, Pommard wines are the very symbol of Burgundy red wines and, since the Middle Ages, a benchmark, "The Flower of the wines of Beaune".

From a well-placed vineyard adjoining premier cru Les Castets. Fresh and fruity with lovely, honeyed chardonnay nose. This is now aged like all the premiers crus in 30% new oak barrels.

This lesser known village, just above Aloxe Corton, produces great value red Burgundy, particularly by Monsieur Cornu.

The 2019 Givry Crausot 1er Cru has an intense bouquet, the fruit darker than the à Vigne Rouge, very well defined with a touch more spiciness. The palate is well balanced with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, quite fleshy towards the finish with cranberry and raspberry lingering on the aftertaste. This remains a quality Givry from one of Givry’s best producers.

Strawberry fruit balanced with silky tannins, perfectly weighted and structured. A great example of Pinot Noir at its most appealing.

From the named vineyard of “La Justice” in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine René Bouvier has 3 plots with a total of 2 ha of 50-year-old vines on stony clay soils. This is an exceptional wine from Rene Bouvier - with an aromatic and tannic intensity specific to the appellation, the grapes acquire aromas of heated rock, pepper, red capsicum and ripe black fruits. It is concentrated but fine with enveloping tannins in the mouth. A note of fresh herbs is revealed in a lingering saline finish that completes this elegant side of the town's wines

The nose has wonderful grapefruit zest bitterness, with some gentle floral influenced honey. The palate in bright and clean acidity, and a voluptuous depth of stone fruit on the mid-palate. with subtle smokiness. It is a highly complex village wine that should evolve well for many years.
