Ripe red summer fruits and forest floor notes; light, fresh and juicy on the palate. It's from Patagonia, of course, widely regarded as the country's best source of Pinot.

From a high quality, old vine block in higher Agrelo, this is a serious expression of Malbec which is characterised by its rocky terroir and small batch wine making. A wine that is named after the oak forests which surround Emiliana's magical Colchagua home, Los Robles. Coyam is the ultimate expression of this estate and is a field blend of their best selection.

Deep colour. Clean and straightforward on the nose, showing a beautiful identity. It is intense and concentrated with notes of red and black fruit - with a predominance of blackcurrants. The texture on the palate is supple, concentrated and balanced: the tannins are fine. Notes of liquorice, menthol, garrigue, bay leaves, blackcurrants and spices.

High up the ‘slopes of schist’ in the rugged mountainous terroir of Séguret lies a single vineyard so predominantly planted with Grenache Noir (intermingled only here and there with some Syrah) that the resulting wine – Les Coteaux Schisteux – comes close to being one of the purest expressions of Grenache Noir in the southern Rhône valley.

Since the elevation of Cairanne to a southern Rhône cru, this first release of 'La Côte Sauvage' continues to be characterised by its finesse and finely-grained texture, due in part to the famous ‘argilo-calcaire’ of hilltop vineyards such as La Pauline and Les Six Terrasses, slow wine making methods and gentle maturation in different sized barrels of old French oak.

Opaque, perfumed with fragrant black cherry, cassis and spice. Full bodied, intense with countless layers of flavour including blackcurrant, cedar and graphite. Dense fruit on the palate is bound by a structure of fine grained tannins and a lively acidity. This wine shows great depth and character and yet is refined with a long, elegant finish.

A top notch wild Bandol!

A deep ruby red with garnet reflections, this wine offers an opulent nose of ripe cherry, fresh fig and strawberry, complemented by mocha, chocolate and earthy humus notes. On the palate, it presents a magnificent concentration of flavours, including yellow plum, fig and tobacco, leading to a finish that re-emphasizes the cherry characters and combines elements of liquorice, peppermint and aniseed. The tannins are fine and melting, contributing to a harmonious and elegant structure.

Made only when our assemblage tastings of La Côte Sauvage reveal two outstanding barrels - 'Deux Barriques' - that merit bottling in their own right. Presented in a wooden gift box vintages include the celebrated triumvate of 2010, 2011 and 2012 with vintages from 2015 onwards released as cru Cairanne AOC.

Garnet red in colour. The nose is extremely refined with good vivacity, opening with smoky notes evolving to black fruit, gingerbread and humus that weave together in an intricate complexity. Immense verticality and integrity in the mouth, with the same black fruit aromas evocative of blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by expressive notes of garrigue, cinnamon and pepper, all underpinned by an incredible freshness that is characteristic of the Domaine’s terroirs. The tannins are exceptionally fine-grained, but their presence and their persistence are astounding. A superbly balanced wine that promises remarkable ageing potential.

Medium bodied dry red wine with a powerful potential. Deep ruby in colour and spicy nose with some floral hints. Savoury on the palate with searing acidity and a tight tannic structure. Red and black fruits on the palate, accompanied by floral notes of violets and lavender. One dynamic powerhouse of a wine!

Legend has it that Egri Bikaver or “Bulls Blood”, as it is better known, inspired the mighty Magyars to defeat the invading Ottomans in 1456. Whilst we can’t claim this wine will repel an invading army, we can say that it will inspire your taste buds! A heady blend of 6 grape varieties with dark, tarry fruit, red cherry aromas and a silky texture.

A premium Italian red wine using the Cannonau grape, natural to Sardinia and thought to be the oldest wine in the Mediterranean. The nose shows mature red fruits with a note of spice, before a silky, full palate bringing pleasant fruit and earth flavours and an elegant, lasting finish.

A tasty drop of bitter cherries and rounded tannins - sumptuous!This is the perfect accompaniment to Italian antipasti, soups, pasta dishes and to the wide variety of dishes that the Mediterranean area has to offer. Valpolicella also compliments roasted and grilled white meats. It is also an ideal summer red to drink with fish dishes.
Serve at 16 C (61 F)and open the bottle a few minutes before drinking.

Classic barrique-aged Barbera d'Asti from the oldest vineyards of the Il Cascinone estate.

The Capitel della Crosara vineyard lies in the heart of the Valpolicella region and gives its name to Montresor's top Amarone and Ripassso. This is an excellent example with bright, fresh cherry fruit.

Allegrini’s take on the “Ripasso” method is made from a portion of grapes dried just for this wine (and not from the Amarone pomace). It's a smooth, velvety wine with ripe, juicy dark fruit and silky tannins.

The hilltop town of Montepulciano lies in the south of Tuscany near the town of Siena. The surrounding vineyards are planted with indigenous Sangiovese grapes (Prugnolo), used to produce one of Italy`s noblest red wines. Susanna Crociani blends Sangiovese with a little Canaiolo and Mammolo, and traditional winemaking methods encourage extraction of voluptuous fruit character, with a distinct mineral and subtle oak influence after two and a half years in barrel and a further six months in bottle. The wine is ruby red with an orange tint, leading to a delicate and intense wine.

You can see Lake Garda from the top of La Grola vineyard which was bought by Giovanni Allegrini in 1979 to create Valpolicella’s first single vineyard Corvina. Intense yet elegant with a bouquet of wild berries, juniper, tobacco and coffee.

Accessible and delicious example of a modern style of Amarone in a distinctive black frosted bottle.

Amarone is the result of Allegrini’s skill in creating a modern wine with a strong connection to tradition. Sourced from Classico area hillside vineyards, grapes are dried for a rich, powerful wine with characteristic dried cherry aromas and a tremendous structure.

La Poja covers 2.6 hectares at the top of La Grola. It is a rare plot of limestone, rich in iron and magnesium. Giovanni Allegrini decided immediately that this was going to be his top cru, made from 100% Corvina.

The wine has a bouquet of wild bramble berry like fruit that is backed up by layers of all-spice and cinnamon. On the palate there are layers of summer berries that give way to a rich yet elegant mid-palate. The wine has a deceptive complexity that shows a lingering finish that has hints of Christmas cake!!
