Quite rich in texture compared to most Gavi but still soft and gentle. Medium-bodied and silky with plenty of juicy peach and pear fruit alongside stoney minerality. Perfect summer drinking...or for when you want to be reminded of summer!

Aged in oak barrels, this wine is ruby red in colour
The nose is typical Nebbiolo with strawberry and violets which leads to a good mouth fill of ripe berry fruits.
Elegant as you would expect of this noble grape.

The wine is straw-yellow with green reflections. On the nose it has notes of jasmine, basil and grapefruit, sensations of tomato leaf and fresh laurel leaves. On the palate it is minerally and sapid, with scents of aromatic herbs as oregano and mint.

This Primitivo displays aromas of dried fruit, exotic spices, white pepper and chocolate. The mouth feel is round and intense with layers upon layers of soft elegant tannins, vanilla, prunes, coffee and underbrush. The finish is elegant and persistent and extremely well balanced. Served with game, meat dishes and hard cheeses.

The Lagrein grape is indigenous to Trentino and thought to be related to Syrah. It makes great food wine, combining vibrant bitter cherry and plum fruit with darker, spicier notes. The 2019 vintage Bottega Vinai was awarded 3 'Harpers Wine Stars' in 2022, including the overall 'Star of Italy'!

An innovative baby Super-Tuscan, Dogajolo combines the power and deep flavours of a young wine, with the elegance and balance from the oak ageing. Full bodied, yet soft on the palate with fruity cherry notes interlaced with coffee, vanilla and spice, this is complex and well-developed.

This wine is intense ruby red in colour with purple hues. On the nose, it has aromas of morello and marasca cherries, notes of small red berries and sweet spices. The palate is bright and balanced with a long finish.

Grapes for this wine were dried naturally in the hot Sicilian Sun, adding intensity and a silky texture to this well-balanced red.

Il Gruccione Lugana is exceptionally well balanced with a beautiful texture, subtle richness and good minerality. Unoaked.

Marco Porello Birbet is a sweet, fizzy red made from partially fermented, bunched Brachetto grapes. It is low in alcohol (5%) and bursting with fantastic flavours of fresh raspberries, blackberries and blackcurrants. The low alcohol and good acidity makes it a great partner for desserts and fruit puddings. It is a real Piedmontese speciality!

An Italian Triple Sec from the Iseo brand of liqueurs, bottled at the rather low ABV of 15%. If you're at all interested in cocktail making, you're going to need a Triple Sec on your shelf - they add a big burst of citrus notes, which is often called for.

Serve with an orange slice and two ice cubes with plenty of soda or as a base for fine-tasting cocktails.
