Selkirk in the Scottish borders was the ancestral home of the Willson family. The wine is named in honour of Rebecca and Lucy's grandfather.

Each vintage, from the base in Cairanne, selected exceptional Grenache and Syrah are picked from the best Côtes du Rhône Villages to make Les Coteaux, which is then enriched with classified wine from Séguret, Sablet and the cru of Cairanne.

Clean, fruity and wonderfully light on its feet, showing off the aromatic charm of the variety without being heavy or ponderous. It has a deliciously juicy texture and a delightfully delicate aroma of spice and fresh roses.

This wine has a full yet elegant palate with subtle minerality.

Bright red fruits, smooth and medium bodied.

At the time of release, this wine showed a bright crimson red colour. On the nose, aromas of sweet ripe fruit and delicate notes of smokiness. On the palate, tastes of cherry, plum and blackberries combined with gentle clean aromas of oak. Elegant mouthfeel, a full body and a fresh and fruity aftertaste. This wine still has plenty of life in it and should drink very well for the next 10-15 years.
