Cabernet Sauvignon is the most suited varietal to Waterford Estate soils, making up 35% of the total plantings.

a ripe medium full-bodied wine, with ripe apple, melon and peach with a touch of minerality. A very complex wine with a long and creamy finish.

It is characterized by an upfront perfume, intermingled with concentrated cassis, black cherries and some herbaceousness.

Lady May is Glenelly’s Flagship Estate wine. Elegant and complex, the wine develops flavours of cassis, blackcurrant, dark cherry, touch of graphite and delicate spicy plum. Fresh and vibrant, the evolution of the wine introduces flavours specific to Glenelly’s terroir. Deeply coloured and perfectly balanced, the wine displays an exquisite structure with velvety tannins and a very good ageing capability. Can age during 12 to 18 years.

An opulent mouthful of classic Pinotage.

This wine has a rich bouquet of fruit with marmalade notes, quince, apricot, passion fruit, and pineapple. Then on the palate, there is a touch of honey and well a balanced citrus feel. This wine is a perfect expression of the terroir all in elegance, freshness, mellow, and delicate. A perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. This wine can age a very long time.

An exceptional dessert wine made using traditional methods. Trebbiano grapes are carefully selected and dried for several months. The must is fermented and aged for more than five years in wooden casks made of chestnut, oak, cherry and mulberry.

With a brilliant dark red appearance and good depth on the rim, the wine exhibits aromas of cherries and dark plums along with a fine minty, liquorice aroma. On the palate, well integrated tannins dominate along with superbly evolved fruit and good length. A vibrant wine starting to show some bottle age. It is certainly drinking beautifully now but it can be aged for several decades.

The Bioma Crusted originates from the Pisca vineyard, as for the Bioma Vintage Port. This ancient vineyard (vinha velha) has been converted to organic viticulture and its low yields always result in amazing port wines that showcase the terroir and the vintage. In years where a Vintage Port declaration isn't possible, the wine is released as a crusted port.

Bright, straw-like yellow colour with diamond sheen. Penetrating aromas of almonds and olives. Light and dry on the palate with hints of salt and wine with a pleasant bitterness on the finish.
