100% Grand Cru, The superb first vintage of Clos Cazals Champagne exudes finesse and opulence.

Cloudy Bay is less famous for its fizz, but we think these are terrific wines and just as good (if not better) than their famous Sauvignon Blanc. This bottle is made only from Chardonnay.

100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru grapes. This is light without lacking power with yellow fruit, cooked lemon and a hint of shortbread. Classy Champagne.

Visually : a pale golden colour with golden highlights and
remarkable yellow gold tints. The mousse is fine and abundant,
forming a delicate stream of bubbles.

Nose : a very welcoming and enticing nose. The complex and
opulent aromas have now reached maturity. The character of the
Pinot Noir grapes delivers a range of very juicy, fruity aromas.
Initial notes of brioche and honey appear, and floral bouquet adds
refinement to this divine nose.

Palate : a distinct, fresh immediate mouthfeel. The acidity is
balanced by the full-bodied taste of the wine. The mouth is
composed of fleshy fruit - peach, apricot and nectarine. The finish
is very long and finely balanced, with scents of citrus fruits and
flowers echoing its bouquet.

Bright; light and clean the nose is of pears in syrup; with more aromatic and tropical Sauvignon notes of passionfruit and peach. The pallet is light and fresh; with perfectly balances sweetness and acidity. Lots more passionfruit; honeysuckle and lifted tropical fruits on the finish.

Vermouth (or Vermut as it is called in Catalunya) has taken Spain by storm in recent years. A fabulous blend of wine, herbs, fruit and botanicals, it is the perfect aperitivo. This one is a real stonker. Made by Casa Mariol, one of Catalunya’s funkiest bodegas, it is fresh, vibrant, light herbaceousness with a touch of citrus zing. Perfect over ice, a squeeze of orange, and (if you must) a small dash of soda.
