Ca'Morlin PROSECCO 'FRIZZANTE' NV
The wine is screwcap sealed to remove any risk of cork taint - which can be high in prosecco due to it's delicate nature - and to ensure that the CO2 is trapped in the bottle and is not allowed to dissipate. It is produced by Andrea Morlin, alongside winemaker Matt Thompson, from a compact winery that has 12 hectares of vineyard. The vineyard is situated in the hills of Conegliano.
The grapes are harvested late in the season to ensure full ripeness. However, fermentation takes place at cooler temperatures in order to preserve the delicate grape aromas.
