Catalpa PINOT NOIR 2013
Catalpa Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard located in Tupungato, Uco Valley in Mendoza – one of the best wine-growing regions in Argentina. It takes its name from an American tree that grows 10 to 12m high and has beautiful, aromatic white flowers. Bright red ruby in colour. Aromas of blueberry and gooseberry jam, with hints of caramel and chocolate. In the mouth, it is elegant and well-balanced, with smooth tannins and intense red fruit notes. Great with soft cheeses, poultry and lamb. The wine has an aging potential of 8 years.
