Castilla y León

From Castilla y Leon comes this classic Spanish Merlot. A complex bouquet of ripe fruit with toasty and dark roasted scents. Good texture on the palate with nicely integrated oak.

Juan García is a native variety from the provinces of Zamora and Salamanca (Castilla y León), where it is planted in large numbers. Bright cherry red colour with violet reflections. On the nose there are notes of raspberry, currants and slightly ripe cherries and spices from the barrel aging, as well as a touch of vanilla. It is a fresh wine in the mouth and the menthol touches typical of the variety stand out. It is a light wine but with persistence.

Prieto Picudo is a very rare, dark-skinned, red wine grape that grows primarily in its homeland of León, located in northern Spain. There are a little more than 4,000 hectares planted in Spain. Dried cherry notes, rustic and chalky tannins, soft and ripe. A smooth and mellow red wine with a long finish and a degree of complexity.

Bright ruby in colour, the nose is full of red fruits and complemented by complex nuances of balsamic and spice. The palate is well rounded, full of juicy red fruits and balanced with an excellent acidity.
