Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We only use cookies that the site needs to work, so we don't ask for your consent and there's no cookie banner. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The cookies we use

• __Host-sessionid: remembers your basket and your checkout details. Set when you add something to your basket; lasts up to 2 weeks.
• __Host-csrftoken: protects our forms (such as “Add to basket”) against misuse by other websites. Lasts up to a year.
• Our staff also use cookies to sign in to the part of the site where we edit it; you won't see these unless you work for us.

Other websites

• Worldpay: when you pay, you're on Worldpay's payment pages, which have their own cookies and privacy notice.
• Our events calendar on the What's On page is shown by Google. It only loads when you choose “Show the calendar”; Google may then set cookies under its own privacy policy.
• Maps on our shop and bar pages come from OpenStreetMap, which doesn't set cookies when the maps load.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the cookies above, the basket and checkout won't work.
