Picpoul

A highly acidic variety that is found in the Languedoc area of France. It comes in Blanc, Noir and Gris varieties, with the Blanc more common due to its inclusion in many blends. The Noir variety is a permitted variety of Chateauneuf-du-Pape (but very rarely used).
