The gout-de-terroir is strong in this wine. The ageing on its lees in oak is only used to enhance the wine, make it bigger and more intense without interfering with the grape variety’s characteristics. The wine is cherry red with a violet rim and a thick body. Extremely elegant nose with hints of chocolate and liquor integrated with the Mencía’s red fruit. The palate is solid, round, full bodied and, at the same time, silky and full of fruit. The Burt Reynolds 70's Porno tribute label is a triumph!

Tomas Postigo has made with his name in Ribera del Duero mainly as the ex winemaker of Pago De Carraovejas. Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) 85%, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, and aged for 12 months in new French oak is a very high quality wine. Big dark prune like fruit with a real meat edge this is a blockbuster of a wine.

Sourced from vineyards over 50 years old, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 24 months in American oak. The nose has a great intensity of deep blackcurrant fruits with notes of vanilla and leather. Complex, well structured and persistent on the palate with smooth tannins.

Colour: Cherry red with garnet tones. Bright and clean.

Aroma: Ripe red fruit and raisins. Eucalyptus, spicy and mineral notes.

Taste: Well balanced, fresh and very intense.

This exquisite and superb-value wine has a fine, elegant nose of fresh red-cherry fruit and sweet spice, and a perfumed bouquet with hints of pot pourri, raspberry tea and red liquorice. The acidity – one of López de Heredia’s trademarks – is astonishing, as is its complexity and freshness, while the finish is enduring, mouthcoating and intense.

Clear and bright mahogany in colour, it has aromas of grapey fruit, marmalade and toasted notes. It is smooth, complex, refreshingly sweet and palate cleansing.

Brilliant yellow hue. Fresh and intense, with a mix of sensations of freshly peeled apple, orange peel, bee pollen and aromatic herbs. Concentrated, fat but refreshing. Long finish.

Deep golden in colour with a distinct green olive hue. Exotic nose of honey, molasses, caramel and sweet spices. The palate is rich and viscous with concentrated flavours of orange peel, caramel and fig. The finish is lengthy and perfectly balanced. Try with a salty Spanish cheese such as Manchego or Mahon.
