This Cotes du Rhone was harvested at night to prevent oxidation and avoid the use of SO2, this keeps the freshness and protects the natural aromas of the grapes. The wine was then vinified without the addition of any sulphites. A deep ruby in colour, the palate is elegant and well balanced with red fruits, spice notes and soft tannins.

An exceptionally elegant rose; fresh nose with light fruit aromas, complex notes of liquorice and hint of angelica. Full of harmony on the palate with delicious red fruit flavours and a suprising spicy finish. Stone fruit and white pepper burst onto the tongue, leading onto a slightly savoury finish. Great finesse on the nose, wich releases a mixture of red fruit, fig and soft spicy note. On the palate, the wine shows great elegance and a lovely weave of red fruit and very fine tannins.

High up in the ‘slopes of schist’ in the rugged, mountainous terroir of Séguret lies a single vineyard so predominantly planted with Grenache Noir (intermingled only here and there with some Syrah) that the resulting wine – Les Coteaux Schisteux – comes close to being one of the purest expressions of Grenache Noir in the southern Rhône Valley.

Château Maucoil Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition Rouge Organic wine is delightful and intense, with lovely balance and great elegance. Made from organically grown grapes, the wine has lovely ripe spicy fruit, red berry flavours with a herby edge and so is a classic CNP very much of its place, warm and rich but well balanced too with a nice lift to the finish. Absolutely delicious with beef casserole or mushroom risotto.

Well-structured, concentrated, and full-bodied, it offers a classic southern Rhone aromatic display of ground pepper, garrigue, cherry liqueur, plums, and cedar with sweet, expansive, and pure fruit flavours and excellent delineation

Since the elevation of Cairanne to a southern Rhône cru, this first release of 'La Côte Sauvage' continues to be characterised by its finesse and finely-grained texture, due in part to the famous ‘argilo-calcaire’ of our hilltop vineyards such as La Pauline and Les Six Terrasses, slow winemaking methods and gentle maturation in different sized barrels of old French oak.

Garnet red in colour. The nose is extremely refined with good vivacity, opening with smoky notes evolving to black fruit, gingerbread and humus that weave together in an intricate complexity. Immense verticality and integrity in the mouth, with the same black fruit aromas evocative of blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by expressive notes of garrigue, cinnamon and pepper, all underpinned by an incredible freshness that is characteristic of the Domaine’s terroirs. The tannins are exceptionally fine-grained, but their presence and their persistence are astounding. A superbly balanced wine that promises remarkable ageing potential.

The Mediterranean varietals typical to the regions of Southern France has inspired this blend made from vineyards in the Tulbagh Valley.

Intense red-purple in the glass. Initial smoky cloves and savoury notes give way to a plum and black cherry nose with hints of sweet oak spice. Medium bodied with well-integrated oak and fruit, this wine has a smooth tannin structure and lingering spice flavours.

Named after the signature spice blend of South Africa, this huge wine is made from classic Rhône varieties. The blend changes every year to incorporate the best grapes from the Swartland vintage.

A complex blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon with just a hint of Viognier. An opulent style with super-fine tannins and a luscious palate named for the distinctly chocolately notes on both the nose and palate.

The grapes are harvested by hand during the last fortnight of October. Fermentation takes place using the Carbonic Maceration technique for 6 days at 24ºC.

Cariñena must be a contender for producing some of the best value red wines in the world and this little beauty is a case in point.
