After spending 10 months in French oak, this field blend from an average of 90 year old vines is floral and citrus on the nose with a lovely lifted hint of honey and vanilla. Rounded and fresh and balanced and delicious.

Located just outside the walled town of Estremoz, this 22 hectare estate is referred to by eRobertParker as the "Jewel of the Alentejo."

The colheita Moscatel de Setubal is actually far from it, displaying all the hallmarks of classic muscat from Portugal. Made and aged in Quinta do Piloto's large concrete anforae, there's dried fruit, caramel, spices, florals and especially citrus orange peel. Classic, sweet marmalade flavours, and around 150 g/L residual sugar is balanced by great acidity.

A fine old traditional style, produced from Tinta Negra, aged for 5 years in old French oak. Terrific as an aperitif served lightly chilled. Lots of interest here, sweet seville orange, some almonds finished with a zing of acidity. A bargain.

Late Bottled Vintage Ports are an increasingly popular style and this unfiltered wine from Krohn is no exception. LBV's are produced from just a single year's crop (but not every year) and with the vintage specified on the bottle, each LBV will express the particular characteristics of that vintage.

Almonds, barley sugar and seville orange all come into play on the lively palate. The sweetness is nicely
counter balanced with mouth watering acidity. A real treat and really rather special.

The wine displays a beautiful, brilliant chestnut colour with russet hints. Its incredibly intense and rich aromas feature dried fruit, candied fruit and caramel. The palate offers a smooth and fresh mouthfeel, carried by a beautiful acidity and distinct notes of dried fruit, culminating in a very long, elegant and velvety finish.

Alta No. 10 is an elegant, luscious, complex Tawny Port, made in traditional granite lagars, aged in old casks and ready to drink now.

Serve slightly chilled as an aperitif and as a perfect accompaniment to chocolate desserts or strong cheese.

With a brilliant dark red appearance and good depth on the rim, the wine exhibits aromas of cherries and dark plums along with a fine minty, liquorice aroma. On the palate, well integrated tannins dominate along with superbly evolved fruit and good length. A vibrant wine starting to show some bottle age. It is certainly drinking beautifully now but it can be aged for several decades.

We have a great Vintage on our hands, showing beautiful concentration, vigour and complexity, but with plenty of finesse and remarkable freshness.

Now at the start of its long plateau of maturity, with its deep colour just beginning to fade at the rim, this rich, ripe Single-Quinta Vintage Port offers typical aromas of violets and roses supported by a smooth generous palate of lush, sweet dried and forest fruits.

Golden in colour, this exhibits a complex aroma of dried fruits dominated by orange peel and dried figs, as well as walnuts and roasted almonds. A floral touch completes the aroma. On the palate it is very fine and balanced, with a vibrant acidity balancing it´s sweet character, interacting with the fortifying spirit to perfection and giving the wine a superb structure.
