This 100% Chardonnay Cremant de Bourgogne is a fresh and fruity example with initial juicy flavours of nectarine and peach followed by a richer, toasty biscuit character that continues onto a long finish. Excellent value for money.

The Pol Roger Winston Churhill is clear yellow-gold in colour, the wine is overt and generous with hints of fresh butter, nuts and even tobacco. The initial freshness tends to give way to a more powerful range of deeper aromas such as liquorice, wood and leather and reveals the great complexity which is a hallmark of the cuvee.

Cloudy Bay is less famous for its fizz, but we think these are terrific wines and just as good (if not better) than their famous Sauvignon Blanc. This bottle is made only from Chardonnay.
