Bellingham is one of the biggest names in South African winemaking, and their Homestead range focuses on regionality and high quality fruit. A nose of dried red fruits hints at the depth of flavour to come. In the mouth, juicy sour cherry, blackberry and strawberry fruits are defined by fine tannins and good length of finish. Eleven months in old French oak has lent breadth to the palate along with some subtle spicy notes.

The wine shows typical Cabernet Sauvignon flavour and aroma profiles of dark berries and tobacco with a well-structured and lengthy palate.

Alluring aromas of floral notes and plum with hints of spicy fruit. The palate expresses white pepper spice, spicy plum and dark berries with a long, fresh finish.

Deep, purple core with a rich, berry fruit nose with lots of ripe red plum and whiffs of white pepper. Some floral notes in the background, including violets, lavender and spring blossoms. The red clay and rich soils bring softer and plush elegant fruit to the aromatics. They also create tannins which are richer softer and sweeter to the other reds from the Waterford Estate. This blend consists of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec.

Ou Hoofgebou Cabernet Sauvignon is an old school Stellenbosch Cabernet. Full bodied and dark fleshy berry fruit in a smooth sheen of oak.

Kaapzicht's Pinotage comes from 20-year-old bush vines planted in weathered granite soil. The vineyards are all dry land, unirrigated.
