Tasting Note
From one of our favourite Gevrey producers, this classic cuvée shows genuine character and with some room for slow development its future looks excellent.
Whole bunches of grapes are placed in open-top fermenters and left on their skins or a minimum of 20 days with the cap broken by traditional pigeage. The wine is then kept in French oak barrels for a minimum of 2 years before being bottled and labelled by hand.
The remarkable notes of raspberry ripple ice cream on the nose have to be experienced!
