Tasting Note
Owned by the Japanese company Suntory, the distillery was thought to have been opened in 1779 on the Isle of Islay, in the Inner Hebrides. The distillery was closed from 1915 to 1925 and again during the Second World War when the site was used by the RAF.
This is an independent bottling of 284 bottles from a single refill Sherry Butt by Douglas Laing (Cask DL14556).
